Ryan’s “Norman Rockwell” Turkey Skin Crisp Hack

Ingredients
- Baking Powder
- Olive Oil (any type of oil will work)
- Salt
Measurements:
- 6 tsp Baking Powder
- 4 tbsp Oil
- 2 tsp Salt
Instructions:
This is a very easy recipe, in a small ramekan or short glass combine both ingredients into a slurry then put to the side to rest while you prepare your turkey. Once you are ready to start the turkey mix the slurry again. Right before you go to put the turkey into the oven you will baste a thin layer of the slurry onto the turkey on top only, so the legs, wings and Breast. If you add spices on to the turkeys skin you can add them after you baste the turkey with the slurry. You will need to then add a tin foil shield to the turkey and remove it when the turkey is 1.5 to 2 hours for maximum skin browning and crispness.
